Fabrication and Welding

/Fabrication and Welding

Welding is a fundamental part of metal fabrication and at Four Square Metal we assemble individual components into the final form prior to its last finishing process.

Accurate and neat welds are essential to delivering the high level of quality finish and longevity of Four Square manufactured products. To achieve this, we employ time-served welders who fully understand and appreciate what quality means to our customers.

MIG Welding

Metal Inert Gas (MIG) is the process principally used by Four Square Metal to weld mild steel in a thickness range of 0.9mm to 15mm.

TIG Welding

Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) is the process principally used by Four Square Metal for welding stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in a thickness range of 0.9mm to 3mm.

Spot Welding

Four Square spot welding services are suitable for a range of metals including mild steel, stainless steel and some aluminium products. The process uses copper electrodes to concentrate welding current into a small “spot” on 0.5mm to 3mm thickness metal which fastens the two components together.
